My definition: good food, nice concert but hot and CROWDED!

Showa Kinen Park in 立川

Followed the advertise about Flower Festival in the website. I went to Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa alone on Sat afternoon. From what I think, it suppose to be full of flowers since it is spring season now. But I was a bit wrong, the flowers that available right now are Poppy and ネモフィラ, ヤグルマギク, リナリア. I dont know how to translate to English. My vocab about flowers is very few. Anyway, it's not that bad. At least the weather is so nice, I rent a bicycle to explore. I spent almost 3 hours in this park by bicycle. It was a good exercise, actually it was my first exercise here :P

おはよ！！！ 富士山

This is my 2nd time, visited Fujisan. 1st time was 12 years ago, so long.
Thanks all Spansion's colleagues for arranging this trip. I had a great time :)
Traffic was a bit congested near Fuji-Yoshida city. It took longer time than normal coz it was golden week.

Fujisan always beautiful. The weather was so nice, sunshine day, a bit windy at 5th station, still have some snow left. We were lucky because if we went there one day late, it will rain and might be pretty cold.

I hope I'll have a 3rd time visit soon. I plan to climb Fujisan during summer but I still dont have a group of people to go with. So sad :(

I better go to bed early today coz I have to reach Shinjuku station at 6:30...So Early!!!!

Fresh Sushi at Tsukiji

As everyone knows that this blog always talking about food stuffs, here you go for today!!!
It is "Really Fresh Sushi" from Tsukiji Fish market, very interesting place for everybody (I think)

Today is Wednesday of golden week. I woke up at 5 .15 AM!! (So early) in order to meet Iwano-san at 6.15. Iwano-san took a first train on 5:15. He is crazy for good food guy :P

Actually Tsukiji is only 2 stations from my apartment, so I can wake up 1 hour after Iwano-san.
This time, the first place I visited was not Maguro Auction anymore. We went directly to famous Tsukiji Sushi shop. Once we reached there, waiting line started to be long line. We waited for half an hour. But the sushi taste is more than worth for half an hour. Ootoro is so goodddddddd. I couldnt find the right word to describe. Just see by yourself for all Sushi in this set.

Oishi Ramen at Kyodo

Per Iwano-san recommendation, I went to Kyodo station ~20 min from Shinjuku by Odakyu line. We went to "Hide" Tonkatsu-Kyushu style ramen as lunch+dinner coz we reached there around 3:30. I couldnt say it neither lunch nor dinner :P

I never disappointed with Iwano-san comment about food. The soup taste is so gooooooooood.
It worth to ride a train almost 1 hour from my apartment to taste very good ramen.

Shell Gathering ???

Actually asari digging might be best describe than shell gathering though :P

We went to asari digging at Uminokoen next to Hakkejima Sea Paradise. The best time for start digging was 9 AM since it was time of low tide. As you can see from the photos, so crowded people. It was damn hot too. We started a bit late than other people, we got only small size of Asari. We might need to go to deeper to get bigger size.

After 2 hours passed, my back is hurt. I know I'm a bit obachan now. Then we stopped and had a lunch. Shiwa-san, Suyama-san and Igarashi-san, they cooked lunch for us. Taste goods :)

Then we went to Sea Paradise for Aquarium and Dolphin fantasy. I dont know why but this time I didnt feel fascinated compare to last time. Hmmm hard to tell.....

Final stop was Igarashi-san's house for miso soup. All of the gals are really good with cooking stuff (of course except me). Miso soup was great! yummy!!

My confuse Sunday!

After almost a month passed, I just had a chance to update my confuse Sunday story :P

At first, I had a plan for dinner with Yun. Since I had nothing much to do until the evening, I went for a walk around my apartment. Then the distance became farer and farer. I walked to the closet pier for Izu first, then it became Hinode Pier. Once I reached Hinode Pier, I suddenly think about taking a water bus to somewhere along the route. Odaiba might not be a good idea since it was too close to hinode pier then I took water bus to Asakusa (again).. People is a bit crowded since holiday has been started since yesterday. Before I got up on the boat, I received phone call from Yun, he couldnt have dinner with me since he is busy. So my status changed from planned to unplan immediately. After reached Asakusa, I took a subway to Ameyoko, walking around the area, had my lunch. After that just took a train to SJK for money exchange. Then back to Shimbashi for supermarket. Finally go to Oimachi for 100yen shopping.

See! I went to a lot of places without a plan. That is the reason I called "my confuse Sunday!"

Asakusa -> Ameyoko -> Shinjuku -> Shimbashi -> Oimachi

Ikebukuro in rainy day

After wake up (almost noon already :P), search internet for which place to go. Since I never been to Ike before, the winner goes to Ikebukuro. Actually I want to visit Namco, Namja town for Gyoza stadium and Ice-cream city. Still talking about food stuffs :p

But I still have difficulty with raining. The sky was dark even it was 3 PM but this is not a problem for me. I just run very fast from station to Sunshine city, a bit wet but still okay.
