Flying Home

Finally, I can go home now after several weeks of waiting.

I took total 6 days off, until next Monday yeah yeah =)

There are too much of problem lately.

I have a little hope that going home this time will help me clear up my mind and ready to move on. 頑張る！！！

ในที่สุดก็ได้ไปเหยียบ UC Berkeley หลังจากที่ได้ไปเยือน Stanford ยามค่ำคืนมาแล้ว ต้องขอขอบคุณพี่เอ๊ะ และคุณ Shong ที่ทำหน้่าที่ไกด์สำหรับทริปนี้
เริ่มเดินจาก Sather Gate เดินวนจนรอบ ขอย้ำว่าเดินเป็นวงกลม รอบใหญ่มากกกก เหนื่อยๆสุด เกือบครบรอบของแผนที่ข้างล่าง เอาแผนที่มาแปะให้ดูจะได้รู้ว่ารอบใหญ่จริงๆนะเออ ได้เดินทะลุ HAAS แถมแอบแว้บเข้าไปในตึกด้วย แต่น่าเสียดายว่าช่วงที่ไปยังเป็นช่วงปิดเทอมตึกของคณะ Mining ปิด เ้ค้าว่ากันว่าเป็นตึกที่ข้างในสวยมากก แล้วก็ได้แวะไป Cory ตึกของ EE มีชื่ออาจารย์เอกชัยที่ Hall of Frame จริงๆด้วยนะเพื่อนๆ น่าเสียดายถ่ายรูปมาไม่ติดอะ มีชื่อเป็นคนแรกด้วยแต่จำไม่ได้แล้วว่าเป็นรางวัลอะไร แต่กว่าจะหาชื่ออาจารย์เจอก็ทำเอาเหนื่อยเหมือนกันเพราะมันมีหลายรางวัลเหลือเกิน ไปดูซากไดโนเสาร์ด้วย แต่จำชื่อตึกไม่ได้แล้วอ่ะ เยอะจัด แล้วก็ไปขึ้นหอนาฬิกา สูงดี เห็นวิวรอบๆ เห็น Golden Gate อยู่ลิบๆ อากาศดีๆ ชองเล่าให้ฟังว่าตอนช่วงฮาโลวีนมีคนทะลึ่งเอาถุงมือมิกกี้เมาส์ไปใส่ที่เข็มนาฬิกาด้วยอ่ะ ไม่รู้ว่าทำได้ไงเหมือนกัน เพราะแถวนั้นเค้ามีเหล็กดัดสูงปู๊ดขวางเอาไว้ ไอ้เรื่องเหล็กดัดเนี่ยชองบอกว่าเค้าพึ่งเอามาแปะให้เกือบครบทุกตึก เพราะกลัวว่านักศึกษาจะมาโดดตึก เห็นว่ามีเกือบทุกปี สงสัยเพราะเครียดเกินไป เห้อ -"- แล้วก็ขี้นรถไปดูพระอาทิตย์ตกที่ Rose Garden ที่ไม่ค่อยมีดอกไม้แล้ว หนาวเกิน ถ้ามาหน้าร้อนน่าจะดีกว่านี่นาาา

ในที่สุดก้ได้มาสมใจอยาก เป็นที่เที่ยวที่สุดท้ายก่อนกลับเมืองไทยที่รัก เย้ เย

14 Nov 2004: Second time in Yokohama

We had "So So" Chinese food from one restaurant in China Town. Also tried big pao from very long queue shop but the taste was not that good. This story teach you that "the taste sometimes does not depend on queue length" :P

Then we headed to Minato Mirai. Kento and I begged Sato-san and Shibata-san to join vanish coaster with us. Even they scare to death but they cant deny coz we are guest. Hahahaha...it was good..

28 Nov 2004: FujiQ Highland

This is one of my favorite theme park. We met at Shinjuku station, took the FujiQ bus. We reached before park open...unbelievable..

First thing we played was Fujiyama, the ex-tallest roller coaster in the world 259 feet tall, 80.8 mph. Then we went to dodompa,was one of the world's fastest roller coaster, queue was very long with almost 3 hours in queuing -____-" After long queue, dodonpa didnt made us regret. It was so worth for waiting...it is awesome..we reached 172 km/h within less than 3 seconds..cool! Another fascinating one is haunted hospital. They claimed that it is longest haunted house. I still dont know what made us so brave to enter. I was too scared to enter any kind of haunted house but couldnt help. Since the group want to go, i have no choice to go too. After get thru 1 km long haunted house, no more for me...one time is enough! Before went home, we played Fujiyama again with night view..i like it!

Then December had come, most of activities in this month was farewell party:

Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki with Liz on 2nd

Nabeyaki with EBU PE on 8th

Sushi with Lunch Gals on 9th

Okonomiya with Fujita-san team plus drinking party on 10th

11 of Dec...flight back to BKK :)

New Year Resolution

I dont have any new year's resolution for this year again coz I know I cant achieve it for sure.
All i can think about is "just do my best" "Be happy" and "appreciated whatever happens in my life"

Got these 2 postcards 2 years ago from Starbucks Japan. Actually both Starbucks Thailand and Japan, they made exactly the same look of Holiday postcards. I got the same from Nichada Starbucks too. But the paper that made postcard is a bit different, you can feel it.

Oh! I really miss "Toffee Nut Latte", special drink during this special holiday season... I can't find it here.....

New York...New York

Don't be surprised when read title of this blog.. ----> NO, I never been to NYC also dont have any plan YET.

I just talked to Keng this afternoon. He persuaded me to visit New York. Honestly, I really want to go their but after Chicago trip during Thanksgiving, I dont have money left for another long distance trip. If I go there, at least 400-500 bucks will gone.. But I still really want to go... still considering...hmmmm..

Keng, it's your false caused me hesitate.Need to start save money and find time to go there...

Dome City.....Aqua City

Went to Dome City with Kento...P'Wat didnt want to join coz he want some rest and roller coaster thing is not his type :P Met Kento at SJK station and took Chuo line to Suidobashi station. Walked couple blocks, here we are..Dome City! My first impression with this theme park was roller coaster ride throgh the center-less Ferris Wheel...it's so cool! Roller coaster name is "Thunder Dolphin". And my instinct was correct! This roller coaster is awesome especially in the first drop!! It also moves along the building...I never seen this kind of coaster before. But the time on the ride is so short for me..It should be a bit longer

We bought 1-day pass ticket with discount coupon from Honjo-san :) We tried most of the attraction that available except "the 13 doors". Honestly, I dont like haunted house at all so I dont want to step in. Kento asked me several times to enter but I know that he also scare of haunted house too..so if we go together I'm not quite sure who will be in the front row :P Hehe

Then we went to Yasukuni Jinja for sightseeing...this place is very quiet and peaceful. Yasukuni Jinja is Shinto Shrine dedicated to spirit of soldiers from World War II. As we might familiar from news about protest from China and Korea when Jap PM visits this shrine which we are not going to talk about. We also went to Museum unfortunately, we reached there 20 minutes before closed so we couldnt go inside just walk around in the lobby area.

Then we got lost to Kitanomaru Park. We followed the crowd because we thought they walked to subway station or sth that we can get out from here. Actually they went to Budokan for someone concert. I asked Kawakami-san the day after, he told me that "someone" is quite popular like 10 or 15 years ago. No wonder why not much teenagers come to this concert. Finally, we walked around Budokan and find the way out...

17 Miles Drive and Carmel-by-the-sea

Decided a week ago to go to Carmel-by-the-sea this weekend. Last time I went to Monterey but have not enough time to visit also enough time to visit Pebbles beach and 17 miles drive too. Member of this trip has only P'Kwang and I. Most of my gang already went back to Thailand "Home Sweet Home" while the rest, they went for snowboarding and skiing. My first impression with snowboarding was not that good so I decided not to join :P

We left SVL around 10:30, reach Monterey around Noon. Grabbed a cup of coffee, walked along Canery Row. Nothing much to see.

Then we head to 17 miles drive, have to pay 9 USD per car as a fee. I just wonder how much the company get from daily visitor. There are a lot of pretty houses all the way along the route. Actually Mansion might be appropriated word to describe. The view along the coast was fantastic. It might be a lot better if it was sunny day, not cloudy. The weather was damn cold and windy but I like it :) I like the sea, wind,wave...everything.

We spent like 2 and a half hours at 17 miles drive. It's time to go to Carmel-by-the-sea, I prefer to visit their and leave before sunset. I hate to drive in unfamiliar route during night time. I fall in love with this city like love at first sight. It's hard to explain how I feel. But all I know, everybody who visit this city might feel the same way like I do. This city has very pretty house, cool display shops. Hmmm like a city of artist. A lot of galleries, some candle shops, small bakery, cute restaurant...oh...i really fall in love with Carmel :)
